This was not an instance of experiencing fingernails on a chalkboard. I was tasked with creating a chalkboard wall for people to have their family Christmas photos taken in front of during the month of December. I had help from Kelley at Fantasma Imagery to help create the concept and to draw out the designs on the wall.
The video below shows the process via timelapse. The GoPro would not stay still so there’s some fun unintentional movement during the video. Yes, we did “cheat” by projecting the drawings on the wall by the way of an old school projector. Didn’t know that they still exist. And there is the famously awkward nose shot at the beginning as I get the camera setup.
