The weekend in St. Louis was full of excitement. Friday was spent on two planes, cruising on the MetroLink, walking up and down the Delmar Loop, picking up a few comics at Star Clipper, sitting and staring at Anselm Kiefer’s “Burning Rods” diptych for an intoxicating amount of time and hitting the zoo for a brief amount if time before getting picked up by my dad. Saturday was spent watching my bro race in the rain, watch my dad’s countenance fall when he saw his truck after it was scraped by a delivery truck in the Arby’s parking lot, stretching canvas in the basement of Manchester UMC during a tornado warning, making fun of peculiar prom plans and a great day with my favorite bald guy.
Sunday brought about a very enjoyable couple of services led by the youth of MUMC. The pictable went well, especially with 45min to paint. I painted Jesus Hug and Lift Me Up. It was the talent and testimonies of these youth was inspiring and encouraging. Thanks for letting me be a part of your weekend!
And for the record-noob tubes rock!
